MORE INFO
KIDS WORKSHOP - Children and families can make a nest and egg from natural materials in the kids workshop in the morning.
ADULTS WORKSHOP - We are lucky enough to have the opportunity to learn about our local birds, their eggs and nests with the enthusiastic and engaging local ecologist and author Tanya Loos. Kids are welcome to come along to this but it will be pitched to adults. The Pysanky workshop afterwards is for adults only (limited tickets), so the kids will need to go home.
WHAT IS PYSANKY you ask? Kathy has Ukrainian heritage and before Easter each year she does wax and dye (pysanky) craft with her family. This pagan tradition and craft will be shared in the 'adults only' workshops. It's for those that enjoy drawing and studious slow processes, and it can get a little messy, so be warned your hands will get dyed and we will use wax and candles.
