'Garden' was the theme for this year's costumes. There were some amazing creations as always. Everyone got to choose a plant, animal or even a watering can to dress up as. The parents of Blackwood never cease to amaze me with their commitment to the creation of this event. It is such a joy to share with the wider community on parade day.
Moorabool Shire Council generously supported the creation of the Blackwood Caterpillar to join us on our yearly Easter Parade. Children dyed old sheets which were then sewn together into a large long and colourful caterpillar. We will add decorations like pom poms to each each year.
